Abstract

The ‘CREASI-PAC’ project promoted by the Port Authority of Almeria (APA) in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), aims to promote a new productive model based on the sustainable use of sea and coastal resources in the port areas of Almeria and Carboneras, in line with the community strategy of ‘Blue Growth’ in the context of the “Sustainable Blue Economy”, promoting the improvement of the economic and environmental competitiveness of the companies located in these areas through the implementation of Industrial Symbiosis strategies.
