Résumé
CD4+ T cells play a crucial role in the cascade of events that lead to allergic inflammation. In this study we focused on CD4+ T cells, we utilized HLA class II tetramers to characterize T cell responses against different allergens , tree nuts and grass pollen allergens. We also utilized Class II tetramers to assess cross-reactivity of different allergens at the T cell level. In food allergy, CD4 T cell populations were heterogenous, with a TH2, TH2/TH17 and TH17 pattern. Central memory populations were also observed. For cross reactivity, a multiple component system is preferentially recommended in Grass pollen and Tree nut allergic subjects.
