Abstract
In the occasion of the restoration of the Church of San Vicente de Paula de Viver (Castellón) in the month of February of 2003, the existence below the altar of a osario dated in the XVII century was discovered. The anthropological study allowed to establish a minimum number of 30 individuáis (6 infantile and 24 adults). This work exposes the paleopathologic study of a skull of adult subject and feminine sex that presents a bony tumoracion, with benign morphologic characteristics, and great dimensions (máximum diameter of 34 mm), that corresponds to an osteom. The radioghraphic study confirms this diagnosis when observing that the tumoration has a homogenous density, superior to the rest of the craneal bone. Although osteomas constitutes benign tumoraciones and of frequent appearance, macroosteomas are quite infrequent.
