Laburpena

The objective of this paper is to propose an approach to the Foucauldian concept of space, both as a reference within its epistemological production and as a key element to describe the models of surveillance and biopolitical control. Starting from the importance that space had in the philosophical production of Michel Foucault, we try to elaborate an analysis of different artistic practices that have worked with space to produce a critical discourse with the panoptic and biopolitical paradigms elaborated by our author. Finally, we will try to illustrate the Foucauldian concept of heterotopias through different artistic practices that play with the exceptional nature of certain spaces.
