Zusammenfassung

The educational mini-videos called learning pills are short-term audiovisual materials (5-10 minutes) that can be used as support material for face-to-face teaching because it facilitates the understanding of learning content and increases student motivation. Given the advantages of using these teaching materials, a group of professors from the Faculty of Medicine (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, UCM) and a doctor from the Intensive Care Medicine Service of the Hospital Clínico San Carlos designed specific mini-videos for teaching the subject of Biochemistry Humana that is taught in the Medicine Degree, from an integrative approach. After its use in the teaching of this subject, the students expressed a high degree of satisfaction with the incorporation of this audiovisual resource in the teaching- learning processes.
