Eficacia de la Musicoterapia en la Satisfacción con los Roles y Actividades Sociales en Pacientes Neurológicos

Resumen

Si bien durante los últimos años se ha producido un incremento considerable de investigaciones desde las que se ha estudiado el potencial terapéutico de la música, no se conocen estudios de musicoterapia en los que se haya investigado la eficacia de esta disciplina en la mejora de la satisfacción con los roles y actividades sociales de pacientes neurológicos. Se realizaron 12 sesiones de musicoterapia grupal con ocho personas (Rango: 37 y 64 años) con daño cerebral adquirido. Se utilizó la versión española del Cuestionario Abreviado de Satisfacción con los Roles y Actividades Sociales (PROMIS, 2017). Se obtuvo una alta participación voluntaria en las sesiones y resultados estadísticamente significativos en las pruebas pre y post-test. La musicoterapia podría formar parte de programas de tratamiento multidisciplinar en el campo de la neurorrehabilitación aportando avances significativos en la recuperación y mejora de la satisfacción con los roles y actividades sociales de pacientes neurológicos
