Abstract

The freehand drawing through learning the basics of form, composition, perspective, tonal assessment, etc. represents an irreplaceable resource (today) for communicating graphic ideas anytime, anywhere. But there are implicit to it as the dynamism, expressiveness, security, gesture, etc. aspects that do not appear for many artists after months and even years of practice; so raise its reach within the program of a semester course in college is a complex handicap to overcome. In this line , and from the perspective of educational innovation in search of methodologies that help students acquire those aspects that go beyond the own technique of drawing, a resource is located within the stages of child drawing that has to do cognitive development of the child that is prior to when he decide explicitly draw. The resource that will stand up a methodology for teaching expressive drawing freehand design studies is: the doodle.
