Abstract

The strategic on-line simulators have grown at the“tops” of the free games, browser type, those in whichthe users can access without prior installation of programs, simply using the browser. These simulators arealways part of a city proposal that is the foundation ofthe game and the player must determine the appropriate allocation of resources for developing the cities.Being large the number of titles that can be found amongthese simulators, the repertoire of possibilities that wecan find is not so big. It contrasts this uniformity in theapproaches to the aesthetic richness of the icons chosenfor the designation of the different spaces. There is also atendency to align this aesthetic with the emotional toneof the game, very linked with the era that the play evokes.
