Zusammenfassung

The Faculty of Geography and History of the Complutense University of Madrid has been committedto innovation and teacher training for several years. Although Covid-19 has accentuated the process,the truth is that the Faculty has always had a long tradition of training in new technologies, with specialattention to the most generalized innovative and digital tools for teaching area. This work aims to showhow the celebration of this specific computer training materializes, according to the real needs existingamong the different Degrees that are taught at the Center. Since there are several courses that makeup the teaching offer of this initiative, the methodology has varied according to the type of course of-fered. Specifically, the main stages are summarized in: (a) design of the contents of each course; (b)dissemination and call; (c) celebration in the IT classrooms of the Faculty; (d) public presentation of theresults. The interest aroused by the training has been very high. Thus, it follows from the assessmentsurveys of the attendees. And that is why we believe that this initiative contributes to getting the entireuniversity community involved in improving the institution as a whole, by promoting greater technolog-ical skills among the target groups of the faculty. Aspect that, in our opinion, is especially interesting inour society, defined by the global, technological and digital context.
