The article addresses the impact of Artificial Intelligence in the field of virtual teaching-learning, ana-lyzing the characteristics and complexity of the various AI tools that are already being used in differentareas of education. The evolution and development of new AI tools opens the way to new learningprocesses where the groups involved, teachers and students, seek to gain a foothold in this neweducational ecosystem. Recent research highlights that AI will be the great novelty in education andthe teaching-learning process, which will be given from initial education (infants) to higher educationincluding business training. It will enhance the student experience by giving them the opportunity tocreate adaptive learning models and features with custom tools. The methodology used is based on thedocumentary review of primary and secondary sources on the development of Artificial Intelligence andits capacity for action that is taking place in the educational field. The results obtained seek to influenceand deepen the use of AI knowing the potential of the tools, as well as the challenges that their useentails in the educational field.
