Abstract

The paragenesis, wich appear in "Buen Consejo" and "Los Blancos" ore deposits both situated inside the Cartagena hills, in Murcia province, are described in the present paper. The paragenesis of both ore deposits is very similar and it's formed by pyrite, marcasite, sphalerite, goethite and lepidocrocite as principal minerals and by chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, arsenopyrite, boulangerite, tetrahedrite and covellite as accesory ones. The textures of these ore deposits have also been studied because of the incidence they've in the industrial treatement and the minerals bearing silver.
