Resumen
The first jurical language and journalism Meeting has been held in Madrid to celebrate the XX anniversary of the information Ciences Faculty, with assistance of the most relevant personalities in this field. There was general agrement among assistants, about the need for journalists to adecquatly use, know and understand specific legal terminology as it has a strong implication not only in every day life, but also in politics, commerce... The journalist transmists information to citizens and an inadecquate use of language can create confusion and be misleading
