Abstract
Disfunction of the masticatory system is a pathology characterized by signs and symptoms affecting TMJ, teeth, periodontum and neuromuscular system. Although disfunction is a common pathology, its aetiology is complex because it can be caused by different reasons. Functional disorders of the masticatory muscles are probably the main reason that make patients to come to our gabinets.
