Coinciding with the tour of the Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, to four LAC countries as a prelude to the President Xi Jinping's visit to the region scheduled for July this year, this work seeks to analyze the current Sino-Latin American and Caribbean relations and the challenges they face, with particular emphasis on the risks that Latin American economies have to deal as a result of the growing interdependence with the Chinese economy.
