Abstract

A complete characterization of aviation emissions is necessary, since it is essential to act on them, to minimize their impact on health and the environment. National and international organizations must have a sufficiently broad database on which to base future regulations on commercial aviation emissions. To this end, several national and international research Programs and projects have been carried out in order to expand knowledge about the aerosol (gas and PM (Particulate Matter)) emitted by aircraft.
