Resum

The aim of this paper is to suggest a weak interpretation of Whorf’s ideas, in line with recent “neowhorfian” approaches. Various Whorf-inspired hypotheses about the impact of language on though are examined and some of them are found both plausible and interesting. In the final section, some connections between the hypotheses are explored.
