Abstract

Scientific interest in humor has grown in recent decades due to the important benefits it provides both at a psychological, physical and social level, becoming a fundamental tool in the patient's care. However, little has been studied from the other perspective, that of health professionals. Currently, some instruments attempt to measure humor as a construct from a social and cultural perspective. Even so, no study to validate the humor scales in healthcare professionals has been found, neither at a national level nor at an international one. Therefore, this study stands as a pioneer project in this field.
