Abstract

This paper discusses, on one hand, whether from the perspective of art. 17 TFUE, freedom of teaching fall within the competence of Union Law and, on the other hand, whether is compatible with the right of establishment a national legislation limiting the public funding of confessional schools to those supported by groups that have been legally recognized as religious denominations under national law.
