Résumé

Professor Martín Almagro Gorbea is a key figure in Spanish Prehistory and Archeology for his outstanding research contributions, their influence, contributions to various key institutions (university, National Archaeological Museum, Royal Academy of History, among others) and the number of disciples and collaborators that he counts throughout his academic life. After a brief professional biography, his intellectual career stands out with: an enormous, plural and continuously innovative work; his holistic vision of the Recent Prehistory of Spain and Europe; the internationalization that he has helped give to the studies of peninsular Prehistory and Spanish Archaeology and his extraordinary ability to open up and explore new fields of study in those disciplines. This book celebrates his rich and prolific academic and intellectual life with contributions from colleagues and friends.
