Resumo

The investigation carries out a study of the problems surrounding compliance and enforcement of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights judgements, one of the main current challenges of the inter-american jurisdiction. The starting point and the proposal have as its essential axis to strengthen the rights of the beneficiaries of inter-American judgments, raising the conventional protection of their enforcement in the substantive dimension and not merely procedural. To this end, the right to enforce these judgments crystallizes this attribution to materialize, within a reasonable period, the reparatory measures and obligations declared in the Inter-American Court rulings, broadening the claim mechanisms through specific jurisdictional guarantees that ensure its compliance at the domestic and international level.
