Resumen

En este artículo se estudia la relación entre discriminación de la mujer y sentimiento religioso en dos autoras liberales, Priscilla Wakefield y Mary Wollstonecraft, y otras dos autoras socialistas, Flora Tristán y Rosa Luxemburgo. Veremos cómo desde las distintas ideologías políticas y económicas se produce en el siglo diecinueve una idéntica discriminación a la mujer, y que todas las autoras despliegan una forma de religiosidad, cada vez más desligada de las estructuras e instituciones formales.
