Abstract
The most popular way of making judgments in the field of political theory is based on virtue ethics. I will analyze two types of erroneous beliefs that it contains a) an "antitheoretical belief," which negates the need for an ethical approach in order to achieve moral judgments and b) an "antipolitical belief," which is contrary to the requirements of the modern concept of political responsibility. The prevalence of these beliefs seriously distorts the fundamental relationships between those who hold public office and citizens. Therefore, I contend that they should be rejected
