Résumé

Visitor research, whatever its type, implies a public-museum participatory process. ln this way, museums pay attention to the vision of visitors, placing them in the place they deserve as participatory agents and not as passive recipients who patiently wait for the Museum to agree on what kind of messages should be transmitted and how to do it. However, despite its tong existence and its proven usefulness, this type of research is not carried out on a daily basis in most museums. One of the activities framed in this area is evaluation, a task that is not easy to implement because a commitment to change is required and, to be efficient, it must cover some essential requirements.
