Resumo
This paper takes as its starting point the fact that there has been a reception of the Homo sacer project within the framework of the Critical Border Studies and CriticalMigration Studies. In this context, we seek to contribute to a better understanding of the archaeology of Giorgio Agamben, by researching the notions of machine and operational fiction, which allow a critical consideration of both the analytical capacity of the Homo sacer project and of the most common critiques that have been posed fromthis field of study.
