Zusammenfassung

The contribution focuses on the study of the main legal issues related to fundamental interests – especially economic and commercial – that have arisen in light of the climate change set of phenomena in the Arctic. The study addresses this matter from a macro perspective – on a large scale – and micro – on a small scale –. From the first of the indicated perspectives, the analysis starts from International and regional Law. Under this perspective, recently resolved disputes or those in the process of being resolved are taken into consideration, placing special emphasis on maritime matters. From a micro perspective, that is, close to the Arctic societies, close to the Arctic societies, the impact of the regulatory developments set up far from local realities is considered from the idea of sustainability. A geopolitical scenario, in transition from the liberal order to another one characterized by conflicts, points that the Arctic will not escape this trend, which will undoubtedly be reflected in new regulatory mechanisms.
