Abstract

The recognition of collective rights is a very controversial theoretical issue that has been moved to a possible acceptance of them by the International Law on human rights. In this process, the doctrine established by the Interamerican Court of Human Rights could be seen as a pioneer in favour of their recognition. The main aspect of this progress for collective rights has been developed in the framework of recognition of indigenous people’s rights.
