This paper proposes a complete analysis of a Latin limestone milestone, originally from the present-day Turkish enclave of Çağirkan (Kaman, Kırşehir), made between 258 and 260 to commemorate Valerian (253-260), Gallienus (253-268), Saloninus (258-260) and Salonina (254-268). We will therefore examine the unique epigraphic, morphological and palaeographic characteristics of the eastern piece to subsequently focus on the study of the road organisation of the area in the mid-3rd century, on the eve of the planned invasion of the Sassanid Empire by the emperor Valerian at the end of his reign.
