Abstract
This paper analyzes the entire legal regime of the new figure of the “restructuring expert” introduced in the Second Book of the Spanish Insolvency Act, seeking to resolve the doubts generated by a deficient and, at times, deficient regulation. It also addresses its consistency with Directive 2019/1023, which is being transposed, and suggests certain changes to improve its current regulation.
