Abstract

There are so many East-West contrasting criteria that it would be impossible to cover them all: geographical, historical, cultural, etc. However, reality moves according to growing globalization that blurs differences that were antagonistic in the past. and that in the present become concordant. Indeed, this occurs in a very special way today in relation to some identities that were asymmetrical between East and West. Our work is made up of two parts, the first dedicated to maintaining the East- West opposition in the religious field (despite the rapid and growing tendency in Hinduism to forget pantheism and resort to personalized deities). The second part is dedicated to denying the old East-West irreducibility in favor of a kind of coincidentia oppositorum, and this for the reasons that are adduced, generated from the fall of the Berlin Wall.
