Abstract
This article is about the recovery of Galician expressions which were falling into disuse due to the dependence of Galician on Spanish language, having already disappeared from current dictionaries. This work was carried out for the section Palabras con memoria (Words with memory), belonging to AELG (Galician Writers Association), which was initially and competently run by Isidro Novo (died in 2018), and nowadays by Ramiro Torres
