Una aproximación a la realidad de las personas jóvenes en situación de sinhogarismodimensiones para un abordaje interseccional

Resumo

Homelessness affecting young people is a complex problem that requires a comprehensive understanding of the various factors that contribute to its emergence and maintenance. The vulnerability of young people experiencing homelessness and housing exclusion is defined by different dimensions. On the one hand, by certain socio-demographic aspects —mainly gender, origin and residential situation— which act as transversal axes in the articulation of social inequalities. On the other hand, by certain realities linked to the living conditions of these citizens. In this sense, physical and mental health; the existence and availability of social networks and social support; violence and discrimination; and access to food and social systems and benefits appear as defining dimensions of the reality of this citizenship. Therefore, based on the results obtained in collaboration with the FACIAM Network, the proposed work aims to carry out an intersectional approach to the dimensions that define the reality of young people experiencing homelessness and housing exclusion, considering how they contribute to the emergence and maintenance of homelessness and residential exclusion in this specific group.
