The health crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic had a massive impact on how Spanish schools approached teaching. Online platforms were the only vehicle to carry all the managing and communication processes in a mobility restrictions context. This investigation analyzes how much the coronavirus pandemic has rushed a digital transformation in education centers by developing a lengthwise and detailed study about child behavior, during the last four courses, of the registered users in the SM Educamos online platform that is available and working in more than 1.200 Spanish schools. An inquiry made to families with children of school age and completed by 1.536 participants serves as an instrument to validate the perception hypothesis of a digital transformation in schools during the post-COVID and the current channels and means by which families communicate with schools. The analyzed data shows us a usage time increment in practically all profile users in the platform, an increased number of visits, primary access thru different devices and general interest and motivation in including ICT in the day-to-day of schools. The results of the investigation have confirmed an increase in digital transformation and also this current normalization in schools and families about the management and digital communication through digital platforms.
