Abstract
The present research analyzes the usefulness of training children in the PAR Program (Problems, Analogies and Relationships) in order to significantly modify their I.Q.'s. A sample of 78 students of 4th and 5th EGB grades (9 to 11 years old) was divided in two groups: experimental (subjected to training) and control. The design applied was test -training- test. The children's scores in the WISC, CATTELL and LORGE - THORNDIKE were token as measures of intellectual improvement. Results indicated that statistically significant improvements were achieved as measured by the test, in the experimental group.
