Resumo
International financial flows possess a high capacity to influence geopolitical events and aspects related to national security. Understanding the logic of operation and the internal morphology of the nodal network of capital transactions could be of assistance, not only as theoretical knowledge but also for the possibility of implementing practical measures. This article identifies the spatial typology of international financial flows, establishes the fundamental characteristics of the nodes that constitute the network, and develops a proposal for practical application, exploring the potential that its study holds in geopolitical and national security matters.
