Résumé

The teaching guide is an essential tool for information and transparency in any university degree. It has become one of the key elements in evaluation programs that such degrees must follow regularly. Consequently, it is necessary that each university establishes quality requirements for the elaboration of its teaching guides and a method of revising them prior to approval and publication. This paper presents a procedure, developed in the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT), for assessing teaching guides. The assessment is based on the UPCT model of teaching guide and is developed in four successive levels, using a questionnaire. The procedure has been tested, by applying it in two Master degrees. The results show which aspects of the teaching guide has more difficulties for professors. This method will help to improve the quality of teaching guides by detecting the most common errors in its elaboration.
