Over the past two decades, the European Union and the European Space Agency have enhanced European space programs, instituting ambitious systems that endow Europe with strategic capabilities. With a revised space policy on the horizon, there is an anticipated surge in investment and the unveiling of fresh programs, which aspire to fortify Europe’s foothold in this competitive domain and enhance its independence. Considering the profound economic implications of this sector, notably concerning satellite systems and the internet, it is imperative to grasp the potential of the European space industry and its ramifications for Security and Defense. Collaborative efforts across European nations have culminated in invaluable insights from shared aerospace endeavors.
