Résumé
The increasing number of foreign students, who come to study to our classrooms in Complutense University of Madrid, and the growing global demand for Spanish teachers around the world, which places Spanish as the third most spoken language in the world (after Chinese and English) and the fifth in Europe, prompted a new approach in the research we have been developing in the field of film studies for teaching. And aware of this reality, we initiated a new approach in our Educational Innovation Project, now focused on creating materials for the teaching and learning Spanish, considering that the use of our local film is a useful tool for the dissemination of language as a teaching resource in language teaching.
