Resumen
Living in the postdigital age raises the question of how expanding digitalisation and datafication affects our way of remembering and creating memory, both individually and collectively. This contribution focuses on the recycling of "cultural products", particularly literary texts, in and through digital media. These cultural products form part of our communication, our collective memory and identity. When they are appropriated by hypermedia and adjusted to their algorithmic logic, they strongly transform processes of memory, as demonstrated by the diary app, Journey. Additionally, the literary text itself is profoundly modified by the changes of memory conceptions caused by algorithmic interventions, as demonstrated in Leif Randt's novel, Allegro Pastell.
