The 28th Philosophy Meetings of the Gustavo Bueno Foundation held in Salamanca between 29th September and 1st October 2023 were entitled Philosophy, Artificial Intelligence and New Technologies. Among the three established lines of discussion dedicated to gnoseological questions, ontological questions and ethical, moral and political questions, it was the last of these that led to addressing the impact of generative Artificial Intelligence (circumscribed to the irruption of ChatGPT in November 2022) on the world of Law. The disappearance of jurists, with particular reference to lawyers and judges, is the topic that has been one of the concerns looming over the legal world for the past year.
