Abstract

Primary cutaneous T-cell lymphoma is a rare type of hematological cancer that develops in white blood cells called T lymphocytes, more than two thirds of cases of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma are classified as Mycosis Fungoides or Sézary Syndrome.Little information is available on the impact on the quality of life of patients with cutaneous lymphomas and on the factors that influence it. Through this descriptive, longitudinal and prospective study carried out at Hospital 12 de Octubre, an attempt was made to find the relationship between photopheresis treatment and improvement in quality of life. Data was taken on 3 occasions during a period of 3 months. After the statistical analysis, it is observed how patients undergoing photopheresis have an improvement in the state and perception of their health, and how pruritus reduces its presence in some areas of the body.
