Abstract

Mainly in the last 20 years, the predominance of digital technologies in cinema has raised many kinds of questions, from those of a productive nature, to those of expressive and narrative aspects. That is, starting from the proposal of the influential presence that is configured reciprocally between audiovisual products and the technologies used in that production, it is essential to project sources that develop the theme of how digital technologies are modifying cinema and its ways of expressing and narrate. Without developing or prerogatives that can be limited, the work focuses on the narrative and expressive impacts of digital technologies in cinema, that is, what types of change and how these technologies can influence traditional cinematographic art. In this sense and in a particular way, we consider that the application of digital technologies as tools for the production and reception of images generate expressive narrativeimpacts in the cinema from their tools of creation and production of images based on technology. Our essential hypothesis is that the use of digital technologies in the production of audiovisual products undoubtedly produces changes in the narrative and expressive aspects of hegemonic cinema.
