Résumé

This Doctoral Thesis aims to contribute to the consolidation of drawing and visual thinkingas tools that facilitate the understanding of complex texts within the framework of feministresearch. It attempts to justify how, through graphic narrative, a quality theoretical discourse thattranscends traditional academic writing can be configured. The importance of the graphic narrative and illustration as a register and co-communicationin the scientific field is highlighted. At the same time, through documental research, a briefhistorical overview is made of women who draw up to the present day, analyzing contemporaryfeminist drawing and its theoretical contribution, through case studies of cartoonists and interviewswith illustrators. We establish a comparison of the use of graphic narrative with other areas of knowledgethat justify and strengthen the research. Illustrated summaries are also incorporated to reinforcethe conceptual and visual value of the chapters, including the work of the researcher and hergraphic contributions. From all this, arises the power of graphic thinking as an academic andfeminist research tool.
