Doctora por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid con la tesis Interacciones celulares entre simbiontes liquénicos. Un modelo de regulación de ureasa en evernia prunastri 1988. Dirigida por Dr. Carlos Vicente Córdoba.
Graduated in Biology 1984 Universidad Complutense de Madrid. PhD Biology Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1988. Postdoctoral stays at the Instituto de Química Orgánica del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas and at the School of Chemistry of the University of Bristol (UK). Expert Degree in Intelligence Development, Higher Capacity and Neuropsychology from the Camilo José Cela University (2017). Member of the Department of Genetics, Physiology and Microbiology (Unit of Plant Physiology) of the Faculty of Biology, Complutense University of Madrid. Director of the Department of Plant Biology I from March 2010 to May 2014. Promoter of the Master's Degree in Applied Plant Biology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. PROYECTA: Entrepreneurship in Bioeconomy, innovation project implemented since 2014 in the Master in Applied Plant Biology. From 2011 (2011,2012,2014, 2015 editions) director of courses in Summer Courses of the Universidad Complutense in El Escorial. Numerous projects and actions promoting the improvement of teaching quality, creativity and entrepreneurial projects. Promoter and head of e-GreenNUTRITION, a business project awarded third prize in the 2nd edition of Laboratorio Emprendedor del Parque Científico de Madrid, and accesit award "Emprender es posible" of the University Entrepreneur Awards 2015 of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Award 2020 to BNB (Biorecycled New Biomaterials) Research Project for its international projection, UCM-Santander Social Entrepreneurship Awards 2020. Coordinator of the Plant Physiology Teaching Unit of the Department of Genetics, Physiology and Microbiology of the Biology Faculty of the Universidad Complutense from 2017 to 2019. Project Manager of "EstuPlan", a teaching innovation project of the Complutense University dedicated to the search for solutions to scientific and social problems and the development of entrepreneurial projects, and in which more than 40 students of Degree, Master and Doctorate participate.
