I was born in 1962, graduated in Fundamental Physics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ph. D. in Particle Physics in 1992, working at DELPHI at LEP, with extended stays at CERN. After a three years post-doc in Laboratoire de lÁccelerateur Lineaire of Orsay, close to Paris, I moved to Astroparticle Physics. Since then, I have worked in Cherenkov observatories: HEGRA, MAGIC, and now in the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA). Since 1998 I teach at Universidad Complutense o Madrid, the largest University in Spain where I have a position of full professor. I am part of the department of Structure of Matter, Thermal Physics, and Electronics and work in the High Energy Physics group. I am interested in data analysis and experimental techniques in Astroparticle Physics, AGNs, and compact objects. I am also interested in the applications of Physics to Medicine.
