Arturo Colorado Castellary es Catedrático y Profesor Emérito de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Doctor por la Universidad de Alcalá (1988), ha sido Visiting Researcher en la University of California (1995-96), en la Purdue University (1997), en la Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2012), en l’École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales de París (2017) y en el CENIDIAP de México (1919). Con cinco sexenios de investigación reconocidos, es experto en Arte, Patrimonio cultural y Cultura digital; ha sido director de diversos grupos de investigación e investigador principal de los proyectos “Investigación histórica y representación digital accesible. El patrimonio artístico durante la Guerra Civil y la posguerra” (2015-2019), subvencionados por el Programa de Investigación de Excelencia del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad. Ha sido director de varios congresos internacionales, como CULTURTEC, organizados en Madrid en 1998, 2000 y 2002 y codirector de ArTecnologia (Rio de Janeiro, 2012, y Madrid, 2013). Ha dirigido también los congresos internacionales celebrados en el Museo del Prado, el IPCE y la Universidad Complutense titulados “Patrimonio, Guerra Civil y Posguerra” (2010, 2017 y 2019). Ha sido Comisario de varias exposiciones, entre las que destaca la denominada “Arte Salvado. 70 aniversario del salvamento del patrimonio artístico español y de la intervención internacional”, celebrada en 2010 en el Paseo del Prado de Madrid, organizada por la Sociedad Estatal de Conmemoraciones Culturales y la Presidencia española de la Unión Europea. En su itinerancia en diversos destinos (Valencia, Barcelona, Figueres…) llegó hasta Ginebra en abril de 2011, al Musée d’Art et d’Histoire. El catálogo se publicó en castellano, catalán, francés e inglés. Conferenciante a escala nacional e internacional. Arturo Colorado Castellary is Professor and Emeritus at the Complutense University of Madrid. With five recognized six-year research periods, he is an expert in Art, Cultural Heritage and Digital Culture; He has been director of various research groups and the principal investigator of the projects “Historical research and accessible digital representation. The artistic heritage during the Civil War and the postwar period" (2015-2019), subsidized by the State Research of Excellence of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. He has been director of several international congresses, such as CULTURTEC, organized in Madrid in 1998, 2000 and 2002 and co-director of ArTecnologia (Rio de Janeiro, 2012, and Madrid, 2013). In turn, he has directed the international congresses held at the Prado Museum, the IPCE and the Complutense University entitled "Heritage, Civil War and Postwar" (2010, 2017 and 2019). He has been curator of several exhibitions, among which the so-called “Arte Salvado, Saved Art. 70th anniversary of the rescue of the Spanish artistic heritage and international intervention", held in 2010 on the Paseo del Prado in Madrid, organized by the State Society for Cultural Commemorations and the Spanish Presidency of the European Union. In his itinerary in various destinations (Valencia, Barcelona, Figueres...) he arrived in Geneva in April 2011, at the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire.
