to the development of Feminist Studies and Regionalism in contemporary Latin America and Spain. She has completed pre-doctoral stays at UNAM (México 1998-99), Latin American & Iberian Studies at CSB (CA-USA 2000-01) and UDELAR (Uruguay 2003). Her research career has resulted in 10 review articles, 3 books and 18 book chapters on topics related to this call as well as research in 3 International Research Projects 2 (European Commission and CONACYT), 1 national call and 2 regional projects. She has participated in more than 30 international & 10 national Congress on Gender and Feminist Studies in Europe, Latin and North America She has directed 5 PhD Thesis, with 1 more in progress today and, as a result of it, she has one six-year research period 2012-2019 by 21/06/2023. However, she has a reduction of 50% in her production as research and teacher as a Director of the University College CMU Teresa de Jesús (UCM) February 2016/ September 2021, as well as 6 months maternity leave in 2016. She is the Director of the Society & Politics Research Group at UCM since 2021, an inter-university group with the National University on Distance's Education (before she was a member of the Space & Politics Research Team 2012-2021). Throughout her career she has established academic networks with several scientific groups on Feminist Studies & Democracy in Latin America & Europe: the Nordic Network on Women Studies, the Iberoamerican Feminist Network of the Union of Iberoamerican Universities -UCM & UAB, Spain; UNAM, Mexico, UNSP, Brazil & UBA, Argentina), the Gender & Identity Group of ECPR, LASA & IPSA Gender Commissions.
