Doctor by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with the thesis Patrones ecológicos en poblaciones periféricas de un ave de ecosistemas subdesérticos, el camachuelo trompetero "bucanetes githagineus" 2009. Supervised by Dr. Francisco Valera Hernández, Dr. Andrés Barbosa.

I am a tenured professor of Zoology working on Road Ecology at Universidad Complutense of Madrid. I also work on Railway Ecology and Powerline Ecology as essential components of the Conservation Biology of the 21st Century.
