Doctor by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with the thesis La comunicación horizontal como metodología activa un recurso eficaz para el aprendizaje en Ciencias de la Información 2022. Supervised by Dr. Mar Marcos Molano.

PhD in Audiovisual Communication, Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), with international distinction. Currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theories and Analysis of Communication (TAC) at UCM, and has been accredited as Associate Professor (Profesor Contratado Doctor) by ANECA since 2023. He undertook a research stay at the University of Helsinki, funded by an Erasmus+ grant. His research interests include digital communication, media literacy, and game studies, fields in which he has published in high-impact academic journals. He is the Principal Investigator of an R&D project funded by the Community of Madrid (PR17/24-31893) and a member of a Knowledge Generation R&D project funded in 2024 by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. He has participated in 9 teaching innovation projects, leading one of them with funding awarded by the UCM Vice-Rectorate for Quality. Since 2022, he has served as Secretary of the Spanish Society for Video Game Sciences, as Coordinator of the Virtual Campus at the Faculty of Information Sciences (UCM) since 2024 and as Technical Editor of Journal ICONO 14 (Scopus Q2 in the field of Communication) since 2025.
