Professor María-Pilar Marco-Francia is currently holding the position of junior Lecturer in Criminal Law and Criminology (acreditated as a senior lecturer ANECA) at the University Complutense of Madrid (Spain) where she actively engages as a researcher in several UE Projects titled HEROES, ALUNA and LAZARUS, in the Cybersecurity external chair INCIBE-UCM, two national projects and two regionals. She is part of the research group on cybersecurity GASS and member of the Instituto de Investigaciones Feministas, both part of the University Complutense of Madrid. Her professional trajectory encompasses a significant tenure as a barrister, along with notable service as a temporary Public Prosecutor in Toledo, Barcelona and Zaragoza. She has broad academic interests due to her multidisciplinary background in Law, Criminology, Psychology and Social Work.
