Doctor by the Universidad de Granada with the thesis Detection and characterization of karstic caves integration of geological and geophysical techniques 2015. Supervised by Dr. Jesús Galindo Zaldívar, Dr. Antonio Pedrera Parias.

Assistant professor at the Complutense university of Madrid in geophysical prospecting and applied geophysics. PrincipaI Investigator of the project 'Caracterização litosférica da Faixa Piritosa Iberica com Magnetotelúrica (PyBe)', granted by the FCT Government of Portugal. University degree in Geology (2009), official Master's degree in 'Geology applied to Civil Engineering and Water Resources' (2011) and PhD in Earth Sciences (2015), awarded by the García-Siñeriz Foundation and UNIA. h-index 13 (Scopus) and 14 (Scholar). Author of 24 SCI articles (12 as first author), 9 book chapters, 1 book as sole author, 2 conference papers, 14 conference posters and 27 scientific reports for national and international companies. Accreditation as Associate professor (ANECA - 2023) and R3 certificate (AEI-2023). I have contributed and given oral presentations in 11 international conferences. I have participated in 15 national and international competitive projects (Spain, Portugal, France) and 18 private projects with Spanish and Portuguese R&D companies. Postdoctoral fellowship at University of Granada (2011-16), Instituto Dom Luiz (IDL) - University of Lisbon (2016-19;2019-22) and ISTerre - Université de Savoie Mont Blanc (2019), and as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (2021-22) in the field of applied geophysics. I have supervised 3 end-degree projects in Portugal and Spain and 1 master thesis at the University of Granada. My research activity focuses on the application of geophysical, geological and geodetic techniques to the detection and characterisation of shallow and deep geological structures. The geophysical techniques applied are: (i) microgravity, (ii) magnetic, (iii) electrical resistivity tomography and induced polarisation, (iv) seismic refraction and reflection tomography, (v) GPR, (vi) TDEM and (vii) magnetotellurics. These methods are combined with geological field observations: structural control, tectonic structures, geomorphology, ductile and brittle deformation, mapping, hydrogeology, etc. All these methods are applied to different topics: Karst systems, hydrogeology, environmental analysis, tectonic studies, mining, engineering and superficial investigations of geohazards. My research topics are in line with Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and Goal 15 (Life on Land) of the Global Goals of UN.
